No allegations

The National Domestic Violence Offender Registry does not publish allegations submitted by members of the public.

02

No pending cases

A pending criminal prosecution does not qualify for public registry publication.

03

Conviction required

A qualifying final criminal conviction must be reflected in an official court or government record.

04

Current legal status

Published information must reflect the current legally reportable disposition, including subsequent qualifying judicial relief.

05

Source traceability

Each public record is designed to retain the court, jurisdiction, case number, offense, disposition, and source information necessary for traceability.

06

Corrections process

People identified in a record may request review where the underlying record is inaccurate, reversed, vacated, sealed, expunged, reduced, or otherwise legally changed.
