Important information about the scope and use of NDVOPW.org and the National Domestic Violence Offender Registry.
Independent institution
The National Domestic Violence Offender Registry is an independent nonprofit public-safety institution. It is not a government agency and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. Department of Justice or any state, territorial, tribal, county, or municipal government unless expressly stated in a specific partnership notice.

The National Domestic Violence Offender Registry is designed to publish qualifying domestic-violence criminal conviction information derived from official court and government records.
