It is not a government agency and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. Department of Justice or any state, territorial, tribal, county, or municipal government unless expressly stated in a specific partnership notice.<\/p><h2>Registry scope<\/h2><p>The National Domestic Violence Offender Registry is designed to publish qualifying domestic-violence criminal conviction information derived from official court and government records. The absence of a person or record from the National Domestic Violence Offender Registry does not establish the absence of a criminal history.<\/p><h2>No allegations or pending cases<\/h2><p>The National Domestic Violence Offender Registry's publication standard excludes allegations, arrests without conviction, and pending criminal prosecutions.<\/p><h2>Record status<\/h2><p>Official records may later be reversed, vacated, sealed, expunged, reduced, corrected, or otherwise modified.
